Your host
Enjoy living with us on the beautiful Sprengercampus. The term campus actually means "field". This is where meets the field and a place of encounter, learning, tranquillity and diversity. This is how the name "Sprengercampus" came about.
Here is a brief history of the farm:
The "Rabe-Hof" was built between 1940 and 1950. The previous owner, Mrs Rabe, ran the farm with her husband until his death. In the 1980s, the farm building became a holiday complex with seven holiday flats, which Mrs Rabe managed on her own.
While looking for a new centre of life for our multi-generational living project, we discovered the farm for sale in 2012. Four holiday flats became one residential unit again, where my father has lived ever since. Mrs Rabe's former flat with the servants' room was extended over three floors and now serves as a home for my husband, myself and the youngest Sprenger generation.
The roof truss has been completely remodelled into a seminar complex, which we rent out for events and where we offer training courses for our own employees. The farm buildings have been converted into a horse stable and an exercise hall. There are horses on the premises as well as two cats.
In the main house there is a 50 square metre holiday flat, our "Gartenglückchen", for two to four people and our larger "Meerfamilienwohnung". The holiday home is located in the spacious garden. We were able to extend it in 2017 according to our ideas with a conservatory and fireplace. It offers space for two adults and an additional two to four children on the sleeping loft.
I invite you to "unwind" and "linger" and wish you a relaxing stay.
Your Anne Sprenger
